How to reset your network adapter by uninstalling it from Device Manager

This can be useful if you WiFi or Ethernet connection is doing strange things.

Right Click the Start Button and then click 'Device Manager'

Find the 'Network Adapters' section and click the little arrow to expand that section

Right click on the adapter that is giving trouble, and choose 'Uninstall Device'

Leave the tick box unticked and press Uninstall.

Restart the computer and try your network connection again. You will need to reconnect to your WiFi. Ethernet connections will not require anything special to connect up again. This will reset all your network settings to default eg, IP Address etc.
